Question: How to burn fat, tone stomach and chest?
My goal: To have a flat stomach and tone my pecks

My Resources: Weight Bench, Tons of Protein powder, what ever food,

I’m looking for the best, fastest possible way to achieve my goal. I will do what ever it takes. I have the dedication, I just need a guide. another problem is I used to be obese and I have allot of extra skin over everything which I dont f’n want.

Personal Info: Im a varsity inside linebacker for my high school, during the off season I tend to eat allot. I do believe I have a low metabolism. I also wrestled for awhile till I injured my knee. I want to get ready for summer with a flat body for swimming and teh girls..

Im willing to go on a good diet also, even if it consist of weigh protein and fruits/vegi… I enjoy to run but dont know if thats what I need or what else I need to do. (Jog/ Sprints/ Walk/ Power Walk) ext. or what not.

My Body:
Age:17 (18 in 6 Months)
Weight: 180-185
Body Fat %: 17-18.5
Height: 5′ 10″

Don’t rely too much on the protein powder. The weights are good to use for general toning of the muscles but, you will have to do abdominal exercises for a flat stomach. You cannot cary extra weight if you want you abs to show. To lose weight you need cardio exercises like running, swimming, walking. This need to be a relatively low intensity but for long periods like an hour or more. Do it according to a programme starting with what you can manage and work it up. Set realistic short term goals and measure your achievement. Don’t rely on measuring weight only but also inches. You will turn fat into muscle which weighs more than fat. So even if you don’t lose weight but is getting tones it is OK. Eat a healthy diet. Check the Healthy Food Guide website out as they have excellent ideas for a good diet. Good luck.

Addendum: Don’t worry too much about the extra skin as it takes a long time for the body to absorb it. you did not gt it in a day and it is not going to go away in a day. BE PATIENT results do not come in a hurry.

Question: I read a book (Body Fat Guide) that claims you can lose 1 lb. of fat a day by walking for 7 hours on a …….
treadmill for 7 hours straight at 3.5 to 4 mph. He says you have to eat enough calories so that you maintain your bodyweight. The 7 hours of walking will burn calories exclusively from fat. If this were so simple, wouldn’t every pro bodybuilder do this?

Question: low or high intensity to burn fat?
i want to start working out but i dont want to have muscles..i only want to burn fat…to do that, is it better to work out 1hr of fast walking (low intensity) or 30ming jogging..or…i dont know…can u please guide me on the best routine to burn fat when working out

Question: Is a stepper machine good at burning fat?
I’m looking to buy a piece of exercise equipment I can use at home in the winter that won’t take up loads of space and a stepper seemed ideal. not so heavy on the budget either.
